I liked it. The katsu style is Japanese (with a Korean twist). Nothing else much to say. Breaded lightly, and crisp. Portions are reasonable. Prices are a bit steep, but you do get a lot of food. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is because the joint was awfully understaffed; one server was looking after the whole restaurant during busy dinner hours and he was looking after 9-10 tables all by himself (I counted)

It’s tasty but we were expecting JAPANESE KATSU.... and turned out to be Korean style. Meal price is good. But meat is over sponged. If you are expecting JAPANESE トンカツの和幸。This is not the place.

We stumbled very happily upon this place while looking to eat something else. Saw the review posted outside by a renowned food critic that specialized in amazing food from spots that are surprises (aka hole in the wall). Ate the special crispy pork cutlet and shrimp twirls (forget their real name, a noodle wrapped around shrimp and lightly fried), left extremely happy.

Visited about 8:30 on a Thursday. Not busy, with prompt and friendly service. I ordered the Curry Donkatsu, a breaded pork cutlet with curry and rice. It also comes with a salad and a bowl of soup. Large portions and excellent flavor, perfect for a comfort food fix. I would definitely revisit.

Delicious and crispy katsu! Would definitely recommend, since it’s pretty much as authentic as restaurants in Japan. Went on a Friday night and wasn’t crowded, there was only one server and he was super efficient- extra plus!
